The Indexgun - 乱暴者の世界 [2010]

Kei Nakata directed a remake of Takahashi Gen's independent 8mm film masterpiece that gave a strong impact in 1989. The lead character's girlfriend is taken away by a man who controls people's mind with supernatural powers. This neo-cyberpunk suspense makes viewers wonder about the meaning of human existence through his lonely and unique battle.

This film stars Takeshi Hayashino who appeared in "MUSICAL THE PRINCE OF TENNIS", Shintaro Akiyama who is a member of Gekidan EXILE Hanagumi, and Yurika Kurosawa who is a fast-rising actress. Cinematographed by Johji Ide, the leading figure of Japanese rock films. The sound designer is Takamatsu Ogawa who won an Oscar for "Back To The Future". Notable movie by hot young actors and an international staff.
