Synopsis
Cheng Lai Sheung (Josie Ho) is one ambitious and hardworking lady who works at the bank during the day and multiple part-time jobs at night. Her ultimate goal is to buy her own dream home located in No. 1 Victoria Street valued at $4.9 million, at a location that oversees Victoria Harbor.
At the same time her sick father (Norman Chu) is in desperate need for an operation but her boyfriend (Eason Chan) refuses to lend money to her for his operation. Cheng is so obsessed about owning her dream home that finally she accumulated sufficient cash to pay the deposit for the home.
However, due to a hike in the volatile stock market, the home owners decide to raise the price, making Cheng shocked and angry. In order to secure her dream home, she decides to take away the lives of her dream apartment's surrounding neighbors, so that the property value would eventually go down.
