Synopsis
The year is 1986. As a ten year old, Lucas manages to steal one pair of red shoes after the Marcos family flee their palace. He then divides the pair between his mother, Chat (Liza Lorena) and a childhood sweetheart, Bettina (Nikki Gil). There are hidden motives for him to steal Imelda Marcos's shoes collection.
Meanwhile Chat, who is doing manicures and pedicures for a living, is still grieving over his deceased husband, Domingo (Tirso Cruz III). Domingo, a construction worker perished in 1981 after the collapse of an upper floor of Manila Film Center. Various efforts have been made by her to contact his spirit but failed.
Everything changes when she meets Madame Vange (Tessie Tomas), a psychic and also one of Imelda's fanatic supporter. In 2006, The adult Lucas (Marvin Agustin) works as a wedding videographer and one day while working on a high-profile assignment he gets an opportunity to meet up with Imelda Marcos.
Will Chat manage to contact his husband through Madame Vange's help? What are the hidden motives for Lucas to steal the shoes when he was a young kid? What is the influence of Imelda Marcos in Lucas's life? What happen to Lucas and Bettina love story?
