Synopsis
Sophie (Inga Busch), a German artist started a lesbian relationship with a Taiwanese woman, Ai Ling (Ke Huan Ru) when she traveled to Hamburg to look for her real life father. One day Ai Ling dies in a bizarre manner, making Sophie devastated.

Few months later Sophie travels to Taipei to display her latest visual art in an exhibition and to visit her lover’s memorial. From there she is being spotted by a journalist, Mei Li (Hu Ting Ting) who uses her charm and self-confidence to woo Sophie.

Sophie, still in the process of mourning and forgetting Ai Ling rejects Mei Li. Few days later Mei Li discovers that Sophie has returned to Hamburg. Soon Mei Li decides to visit Hamburg in the hope of finding Sophie.

The two finally met and Mei Li learns from Sophie that initially Ai Ling’s mother (Lu Yi Ching) prohibits her to visit Hamburg as she suspects that her uncle (Jack Kao), who is living in Hamburg, is her real life father. Ai Ling insisted and while in Hamburg she befriended Sophie and their relationship started.

It was love at first sight for both and Ai Ling moved in with Sophie afterwards. Ai Ling’s constant possessive and monitoring behavior towards Sophie begins to create some cracks in their relationship with Ai Ling suspecting Sophie using her as the subject of a documentary film.

After sharing the story about Ai Ling’s past history, romance blossoms between Sophie and Mei Li. Actually Mei Li’s main purpose of visiting Hamburg is to secretly investigate the real cause of Ai Ling’s death, without the actual knowledge of Sophie.

Sophie later discovers that there is no journalist called Mei Li in Taiwan and finds no immigration record of her name entering Germany. And she is wondering if Mei Li is the reincarnation of Ai Ling’s spirit? Who is the real mystery woman behind the love story?
