Synopsis
University athlete Yang Yang (Sandrine Pinna) is born to a French father whom she never meets throughout her whole life and raised up by her Taiwanese mother (Yu Tai Yan). Although she is part French she cannot speak a word of French and only Chinese as she was brought up in Taiwan since young. She befriends Xiao Ru (Her Sy Huoy), who is the daughter of her coach (Chu Lu Hao).

The best of friends turn into step-sisters relationship when the coach marries her mother. At first the two have close bond but things start to change when Yang Yang starts an affair with Shawn (Bryant Chang), who is Xiao Ru’s boyfriend. Later Yang Yang dumps him and the heart-broken Xiao Ru seeks vengeance by ensuring she take steroids in one race competition and eventually her athletic career is over.

Feeling hurt and guilty Yang Yang leaves home and starts a new career as a model and actress under the guidance of Ming Ren (Huang Chien Wei), who is a photographer. She tries to woo Ming Ren but got rejected. As she has already lost in touch with her step-sister she feels even more unwanted and rejected in her daily lives due to the fact she is half-French and her father’s absence in her upbringing has greatly influenced her personality.
