Synopsis
Jaya (12) who lost his mother, delivered to his own family that still alive, his father, Johar (48). Johar work in a fish trap (Jermal), The place of the netting of the fish that was built on pillars of wood in the middle of the ocean. This fish trap was isolated and was difficult to be covered. In the place, the work of the manual labourer and alienation was the everyday reality. Johar was shadowed the dark past that made him could not return to the mainland since 12 years ago.

The incident resulted in Johar must be kept by police when returning to the mainland. When Jaya arrived in the fish trap, he was at once refused Johar that had not known that he had a son. Realise that he was not possible to return to the mainland to accompany the child, Johar then was forced to receive Jaya worked in fish trap.

This meeting caused very foreign situation. The old-child relations that were not known by his existence by the two of them.
